Inspired by the buildings in our own timber yard, this poultry shed offers strength, charm, and practicality in one complete package. Built from FSC-certified, sustainably sourced timber, the wood is pressure-treated for longevity. The design includes four internal nest boxes, two 6ft roosting perches, and a pop hole providing access from the house to the secure run for minimal use. A pent style Onduline roof ensures reliable weather protection throughout the year and an excellent shelter when free ranging. 

The attached run is constructed using premium Italian 19 gauge galvanised wire mesh (½" x ½"), offering strong protection against predators. 

A front window in the house improves ventilation and natural light, helping to maintain a healthy, comfortable environment for your birds in all seasons.

The Poultry Lodge and Run is built with strength and ease of use in mind:

The house measures 6ft (L) x 4ft (W), and the attached run is 8ft (L) x 4ft (W), giving a total length of approximately 14ft. The height of the poultry house is 4ft 6in at the front, sloping down to 4ft at the rear, providing a comfortable internal space while maintaining a low profile in your garden.

It includes four internal nest boxes, two 6ft perches, and a raised internal floor for better hygiene and easier cleaning. Galvanised fixings are used throughout for rust resistance and long-term durability. A pop hole allows secure movement between the house and run.

Important Information

Please note that our integrated runs are designed to provide a safe space for your birds to roam. They are intended to complement free ranging in your outdoor space rather than serve as a permanent enclosure.

If you are looking to keep your birds permanently enclosed, a larger run space would be required.

This integrated run provides overnight and morning space for your birds before and after they free range. With 32 sq ft of run space, this provides 1.6 sq ft per bird for a flock of 20 hens — comfortably above the industry convention of 1 sq ft per bird for birds that free range for the majority of the day.

Assembly

Please note, this product is delivered on a pallet and includes all fittings, a layout plan, and detailed instructions for quick and easy assembly. 

This item will be delivered on a large lorry as standard. If you have delivery restrictions or require a van delivery, please email us so we can review the available options. Please note that, depending on your postcode, this may incur an additional van surcharge.

Handcrafted in our UK workshop, all orders arrive approximately within 5 –12 working days with delivery included in the price. Please note that certain remote areas may fall outside our standard delivery zone.
