Elevate your pond or lake with our Pagoda-inspired Small Hexagonal Floating Duck House – a beautiful, functional nesting space that also makes an elegant water feature. Crafted by hand in the Hampshire countryside, this waterfowl house combines practical design with timeless architectural charm.

This attractive hexagonal floating duck house measures approximately 550mm in diameter and 600mm tall, making it ideal for housing one pair of ducks. Inside, it features a single enclosed compartment with a convenient entrance for easy access.

The duck house is crafted from a treated timber framework and clad with tanalised 16 x 125mm shiplap on both the sides and roof, offering durability and protection against the elements.

It sits securely on a matching hexagonal float, approximately 800mm in diameter, constructed from tanalised timber and incorporating a rigid flotation system. This allows the unit to rest safely on a pond or lake surface, providing a secure haven away from ground-based predators.

You can secure the duck house in place on the water using our complementary Tethering Kit.

Complementary Landing Platforms are included to help ducklings and smaller breeds easily access the float.

Floating Pontoon: Hexagonal shape, approx. 800mm in diameter. The float features a centrally pre-drilled anchor hole, designed to accommodate our anchor fixing (available separately) – a durable metal fitting that provides a secure loop beneath the float for attaching a rope or chain.

 Assembly

The house and float are supplied fully assembled as separate units for ease of transport and installation.

The finial is provided separately and will need to be attached on arrival to prevent damage during transit.

Complementary landing platforms and the tethering kit with one ring on plate are supplied loose and are not pre-attached, allowing them to be installed according to your preferred setup.

Anchor and rope (if purchased) are also supplied separately and should be secured once the unit is positioned in its final location.

This item is delivered on a pallet. Kindly notify us of any access restrictions at the delivery location (e.g., narrow roads, steps, gated access).

Handcrafted in our UK workshop, all orders arrive approximately within 5 –12 working days with delivery included in the price. Please note that certain remote areas may fall outside our standard delivery zone.
