Vyse Arks Extra Large Enclosed Run | Apex Onduline Roof | 18ft x 9ft | 19 Gauge Mesh

The Vyse Arks extra large enclosure is the perfect run for your family flock. This extremely popular 18ft x 9ft enclosed run is handmade using Italian galvanized ½” x ½” 19 gauge mesh and the highest quality treated timber to ensure your chickens’ safety and a long working life for your purchase. It comes with the very popular Onduline roof for exceptional protection against the elements. 

This enclosed walk-in chicken run features wired timber panels that easily screw together for quick assembly. Despite the lightweight panels, the structure is reinforced with corner braces for lasting strength and stability. The door includes a robust galvanised benton bolt so you can add a padlock for security. The door can be hinged to open either way at your preference, it will arrive to be positioned on the long side’s end as shown in the images. Please note, all of our products are delivered flat-packed with all the fittings and detailed instructions required for quick and easy assembly. We recommended this run is erected on a level base.

Our prices include delivery, so you won’t have to worry about any additional charges, though some geographical exclusions may apply. As all our items are handmade in our workshop, delivery is typically within 5-12 working days.

Please note, the image shows a 12ft x 9ft enclosure. Our enclosures are ideal for chickens, geese, ducks, and other poultry, and can also be used for rabbits. 

Optional Guttering
The guttering package includes both guttering and downpipes for each side of the apex roof run, providing effective water drainage and protection.

Optional Draught Boards
Draught boards are integrated into the structure, as shown in the single image. If you would prefer these supplied as separate long boards, please email us at hello@vysearks.com with your order number and we will be happy to accommodate your request. 

Construction & Materials

Our panels are built for durability, strength, and animal safety.

Welded Mesh:
Made from 19 gauge  ½ inch x ½ inch Italian galvanised steel welded mesh. Also available in 3/4 inch x 3/4 inch 16 gauge. Please note we never use chicken wire – foxes can chew through it. This tighter, stronger mesh keeps predators out and prevents small birds from entering.

Sturdy Timber Frame:
Our frames are built from 58mm x 38mm pressure-treated timber (milled size approx. 34mm x 44mm) for excellent weather resistance and long-lasting structural integrity.
