An ideal walk-in aviary for bird keepers looking for a beautifully designed and handcrafted enclosure that will protect their birds from predators whilst giving them generous outdoor space. This Vyse Arks 12ft x 6ft aviary has been handmade at our workshop in Hampshire, crafted using Italian galvanised ½" x ½" 19 gauge mesh and the highest quality pressure-treated Scandinavian redwood timber — milled to a smooth finish for a clean, professional result.

Optional Anti-Predator Grass Skirt — 16 Gauge, 1" x 1" Mesh
Protect your aviary from digging predators with our heavy-duty anti-predator grass skirt. Manufactured from durable 16 gauge welded mesh with a 1" x 1" mesh aperture, designed to create an effective barrier to prevent foxes, cats and other animals from digging beneath your aviary. Supplied with galvanised ground pegs for a neat and reliable installation.

Construction & Materials

Welded Mesh
Made from Italian galvanised 19 gauge ½" x ½" welded steel mesh — also available in 16 gauge for increased predator resistance. Please note we never use chicken wire — it offers insufficient protection for aviary use. Our mesh keeps predators out and prevents wild birds from entering.
Our aviary panels are built from 58mm x 38mm pressure-treated Scandinavian redwood timber — milled to a smooth finish (milled size approx. 44mm x 34mm) for excellent weather resistance and long-lasting structural integrity.

Please note: due to the natural expansion and contraction of timber and variations in milling, all dimensions are approximate. Base, guttering and housing not included.

All products are delivered flat-packed with all necessary fittings, a layout plan and detailed instructions for straightforward assembly. Free delivery to most mainland UK postcodes. Delivered on a pallet via a 7.5 tonne vehicle — please notify us of any access restrictions. Lead time: approximately 5-10 working days. Some remote postcodes may fall outside our standard delivery zone — please contact us before ordering if unsure.
