Health & Safety Guidance

• Do not place unlit incense sticks on polished or painted surfaces or anywhere they may cause staining.
• Handle incense sticks by the thin wooden end to prevent colour transfer.
• Always place the stick in a suitable incense holder and ensure it is stable.
• Position the holder on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials and draughts.
• Light the tip of the stick, allow the flame to catch briefly, then gently blow it out and allow the incense to smoulder.
• Wash hands after handling incense.
• Ensure any falling ash lands on a non-flammable, non-staining surface.
• Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
